DJ Armijo and William Montgomery are a Guitar Duo who share the same passion for music. They both have
many years experience and continue to work at the art of mastering the Guitar. They have taken private instruction from various
accomplished Guitarists such as Hector Pimentel, Benjamin Silva, Michael Chapdelaine, Tomas Vigil, Neil Martinez and others.
They have played for various dignitaries and events.
William currently attends the University of New Mexico while pursuing a
Music education degree as well as playing guitar for various events. DJ currently gives private instruction as well as playing
at weddings, restaurants, galleries, private parties etc. They have performed for various venues such as the Inn of the Mountain
Gods Resort and Casino in Ruidoso, NM and the Santa Fe Opera.
DJ has also played for Mayor Martin Chavez and Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico, as well as winning one of the
largest Statewide Guitar competitions 2 years in a row while playing classical guitar.
In addition to the accomplishments listed above, DJ and William also do clinician work with the guitar program at
Cibola High School.
